ChatGPT is a language model trained using machine learning techniques. It can understand and respond to natural language inputs and can be used for tasks such as language translation, coding, question answering, and text generation.

It is primarily trained on English text but can also understand and respond in other languages to some degree.

But my friends, it is astonishing what it can understand. ChatGPT can understand Arabic written in Latin letters, a method to write Arabic that was popularized in the early SMS days.

SMS in Latin letters has a limit of 160 characters, whereas Arabic letters have a limit of 70 characters. That is why Arabs used to text in Latin letters in the early SMS days. There is no source material to teach a language model this type of Arabic other than social media. Nevertheless, it was enough for OpenAI to teach this Arabic to ChatGPT.

So, let us be clear, this thing has potential, and there are a lot of cases and ways to use ChatGPT online. Using ChatGPT to its full potential will benefit you in your productivity. Do not be afraid to use ChatGPT. I’m here to teach you how to unlock its limitless capabilities.

Let’s get started

By the way, Microsoft is planning to invest $10 billion in OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT. I guess it is a matter of time before we see ChatGPT in Microsoft office products.

Prompting

Remember the old fairytales where a greedy person would ask a genie for a wish, but because they weren’t exact enough, the wish would go sideways? Well, AI isn’t different than the genie in the fairytales.

A good prompt will increase the value you will get back from the AI, including ChatGPT.

You are asked to enter a text when you open a new ChatGPT window. This is your prompt; use it wisely.
