I've always wanted to have a Mac at home. But the idea of only having one screen in an iMac always killed this possibility.

It is proven that dual screens improve productivity by up to 42%. That is why I always felt that paying top dollars for an iMac and then putting another monitor next to it (it doesn't look as good) is aesthetic, not pleasing — I keep thinking about the top dollar one had to pay for the iMac.

The Mac Pro is way out of my league, So it never came into consideration.

Since Apple started using its own chips in the Macs, I kept an eye out for the Mac mini — Now we are talking. I didn't buy the first iteration of the device because let's be honest, would you test a redesigned, reengineered, very compact device with many promises?

In January 2023, Apple introduced the new Mac mini with the M2 chip. And let me tell you, it is a game changer.

This device outperforms the previous Mac mini from 2020 with the M1 chip. It even outperforms all the M2 models from 2022 in single-core benchmarks. It even outperforms the base model Mac Pro (2019).
